We are Bára a Venca from Prague, but four years ago we moved to a house in a village. We have 4 kids, 2 turtles, parrot, that came to us on its own, a black and white mouse and three great dogs.

At first, Vašek brought home a puppy from a shelter, a hybrid of a labrador a german shepherd.

Before I was married, I had two dogs and I felt their love, so I was determined to have my own dogs.

WELCOME IN OUR BLACK BARBARIAN BREEDING STATION

When searching for a beautiful, family type and a sports loving dog, Eparneul breton was my clear choice. And also I fell in love with this breed on the first site. Even though it is a hunting dog, his happy and nonviolent  nature and easy training made it possible to have a pleasant family companion. And so in the summer of 2006,  we brought to our 42kg heavy dog Legolas, that has respect when standing close to the fence, a new friend - a black and white small female breton called Arwen.

Our kids are enthusiastic breeders and without much effort they gave our dogs a  “canisterapeutic training”. So our dogs,  Arwen, Gina and Legolas, do not mind, if a child sometimes shares their lair, mixes food in their bowls, leads them around the house as if outside on a walk and if their mouths, eyes and ears are inspected by a baby-veterinarian.

It is a shame, that a dog of such qualities is     seen here very occasionally and that not enough attention is given to him, even though his capabilities would earn it. When Arwen grew up into a beautiful and intelligent lady, we decided to breed epagneul bretons, because these great dogs can bring more happiness into the lives of their owners.

And now you know, why we breed with a smile.
